M.Gaston is the co-founder of Apprendre Franco-fun! and is also a qualified French first language teacher. With over 9 years experience in a French first language school board, he is able to provide top quality full length lessons that are all recorded.

Theme Based Learning
The goal of learning a language is to communicate. Oral communication skills are fundamental to the development of literacy and essential for thinking and learning. It is the glue that puts all the components of a language together.

Children's knowledge of letter names and shapes is a strong predictor of their success in learning to read. Knowing letter names is strongly related to children's ability to remember the forms of written words and their ability to treat words as sequences of letters.

Blending is a crucial skill in learning to read since being able to mentally join speech sounds together to make words helps students to decode unfamiliar words using letter-sound patterns when reading.
